Kristen Cici is the founder of The Advancement Company, which provides evaluation assistance to nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions. Kristen has been involved with nonprofits all of her adult life and most of her youth as a volunteer, board member, staff member, and consultant. Her educational background includes a BA and MA, and she is currently working on her dissertation on how best nonprofits can evaluate their social media efforts for her PhD in Evaluation at the University of Minnesota.

She has conducted evaluations for a variety of different organizations, including the MS Society, Twin Cities Pride, Normandale Community College, University of Minnesota, Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe, FamilyMeans, YouthCARE, Minnesota Fathers & Families Network, The Bridge for Youth, Phyllis Wheatley Community Center, Children’s Advocacy Network, Lind-Bohanon Neighborhood Association, and Baby Steps.

Kristen also co-owns two other businesses: The Woof Room and Deckci Decor and serves on the Board of Directors of Pet Haven Inc. of Minnesota and is Vice Chair of the Minneapolis Housing Board of Appeals.
